Stanley Migas California Vintage Op Art Modern Geometric LE Silk Screen Print

This is one of 2 limited editions prints I have by California artist Stanley Migas. See my other listings for the other. They look incredible hanging together! Artist: Stanley Migas (Venice, California) Print was removed from original acrylic framing to access condition. Print was placed back in original acrylic framing for current sale. Type: Limited edition-looks to be a silk screen/screen print but not certain Signature: pencil signed and numbered on front-verso: pencil signed with copy right date of 1981 Small series of only 50 Edition number: 44/50 Original Acrylic frame Dates: copyright 1981-original was probably from late 70’s but not certain Paper type: unknown-most likely BFK Rives but not certain. Measures: Print-29” x 29” Frame-29.25” x 29.25 Condition: margins and corners of print have bleeding and or water damage spots as shown, other tiny spots or stains, toning and toning lines on back of print, paint stains and spots on back of print. Wrinkles, waviness, and or creases. If the print is in direct sunlight with no backing or framing behind it then you will see paint stains on the back through front image. Other mild wear from age. Acrylic frame condition: Damage to frame-Large 6.5” broken piece of acrylic on the side of framing!!! Heavy amount of scratches, surface abrasions to acrylic, scuffs, spots and stains. Previous owner probably cleaned acrylic with paper towels and windex (my guess). Acrylic cannot be cleaned in that manner, it causes surface scratches and damage. The conditions stated above are mostly visible up close. Abrasions to surface are more visible than scratches. Being as this is the original framing I have kept it. Newer framing is suggested but not necessary-up to you! Also, print does not align perfectly with board behind it. Sold as-is!
