This is an original lithograph entitled "The Poet's son" being a caricature of Sir Percy Florence Shelley, 3rd Baronet, by Ape (pseudonym of Carlo Pellegrini) published in Vanity Fair magazine on December 13, 1879. The print is 15 by 10 inches. One corner has two creases in the paper; otherwise the condition is good. Shelley was the son of the poet Percy Shelley and Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley, author of Frankenstein.
