This is an antique, original hand-colored lithograph, part of a set made for Kew Gardens in London in 1850. It is of Zygopetalon Mackaii .I bought 2 of the prints about 20 years ago from David Swoyer, curator of a museum in Daytona. I had both prints matted and framed alike. The framed art piece measures 19 inches high x 16.5 inches wide. Both pieces have been hanging on a wall in my home since I bought them. Both pieces are in very good shape, no evident damage being in limited light and not moved since hung on the wall. These are originals, not copies. They are quite rare but if you love orchids like I do, you will appreciate the176 year old print.

A nice touch is the paper’s natural fiber content, giving it character.
