Artist belonging to the generation of the 80s in Cuba. Prolific in his artistic creation, Nelson Villalobos creates the group RUPTURA composed of Nelson, Villa, Ferrer and Lobo, (his name and surname) his creation touches various techniques and styles, ranging from drawings, engravings, sculptures, watercolors, paintings, wall projects , etc. In his work you can see the influence of Afro-Cuban culture as well as that of teachers such as Picasso, Matisse, Picabia, etc. and create a personal world with your own language. Prolífico en su creación artística, Nelson Villalobos crea el grupo RUPTURA integrado por Nelson, Villa, Ferrer y Lobo, (su nombre y apellido) su creación toca diversas técnicas y estilos, que van desde dibujos, grabados, esculturas, acuarelas, pinturas, proyectos murales , etc. En su obra se puede ver la influencia de la cultura afrocubana así como la de maestros como Picasso, Matisse, Picabia, etc. y crear un mundo personal con su propio idioma.
