Evelyn’s Drive-InTiverton, RI Watercolor/Acrylic Art print of Evelyn’s Drive-In in Tiverton, RI by William B. MacGregor Jr, who is known in the New England area as the Junkyard Artist. ------------------------------------------------------- On the banks of Nanaquaket Pond inTiverton, Rhode Island sits a little red roadside clamshack famous for sunset views, massive seafood platters, and chowder known as Evelyn’s Drive-In. This is the perfect clamshack in the summer to enjoy a plate of fried clams and chowder while enjoying the bucolic view of Nanaquaket Pond. Evelyn’s Drive In was founded by Evelyn DuPont in 1969 and has been serving and satisfying customers since from all over the world. Everything is very very good and recommend the ultra fresh fish and chips, fried clams, seared scallops, cheeseburgers and their yummy chowder. Oh how, I enjoy a summer day at Evelyn's sitting under an umbrella or overhang, crunchy shells under feet and enjoying watching boats and ocean birds on the lazy inlet Nanaquaket Pond from Mount Hope Bay.
