Up for sale is a beautiful early 20th century linocut from the New York based painter and print maker Leon Dolice. This linocut shows a wonderfully theatrical figure in anguish as she lays on her back while covering her face. Unframed, this print measures 7.75 x 11.25 inches and is signed in pencil low right and initialed in the print low left. The condition of this unframed linocut is good showing minor matt burn, a tear in low right margin and skinning and old tape/glue verso.
