Description: This print originates from the 11th edition of the Kurfursten Bible (the Luther translation "Biblia, Das isst: die Gantze Heilige Schrift" published by Endters in Nurnberg, from 1641 onwards), published in 1708. Artists and Engravers: Engraved by Gabriel Ehinger after Johann Jacob von Sandrart. Gabriel Ehinger (1652-1736) was a German painter, printmaker and etcher from Augsburg. Johann Jacob von Sandrart (1655-1698) was the son of Jacob von Sandrart, an engraver, art dealer and publisher from Nurnberg.
