This image of the Disney character Mickey Mouse belongs to a portfolio of ten screen prints called 'Myths' published in 1981. The series is based on characters from American Popular culture which have become icons, defining different generations. It includes the likes of Superman, Dracula, Santa Claus and Uncle Sam. All the prints are inlaid with diamond dust, a by-product of making of industrial-grade diamonds. It is sprinkled on to the ink while still wet. Pencil numbered and signed in the plate.
