28 x 28" kano school sokuyo period 2 panel edo scroll style print egrets willows This 2 panel Japanese Kano school style print is signed Kano Sokuyo and depicts egrets and willows bathing in a pond during the winter utilizing warm neutral tones. The original work was created in the Kano school style during the Edo period of Japan. the 28" x 28" frame is gilded. Even the mat and frame trims are gilded, with some very minor losses on the frame exposing the red paint underneath used to prime the vibrant gold coloration.
