vintage chromolithograph print of a famous Flemish Miniature, likely originating in Europe -- this depicts the entry of the Future Emperor Charles V to Bruges in 1515 -- the original is in the Vienna National Library -- -- this print is signed in the lower margin, but is very difficult to read: perhaps 'Putnam'?? -- I am guessing the '1/21' is the date but could be an edition number -- it is a lot like a watercolor under the loupe, but it seems to be printed with a sort of soft French style Chromolithography with hand-painted gold dust accents, for instance to the flags -- -- framed in a gold finished wood frame under glass, with a gold foil matte -- the image showing measures 6 3/4 by 8 1/4 in. - the frames measure 10 1/2 by 12 1/2 in. -- -- print is in excellent condition - a little nicking to the gold paint on the frames with light handling wear -- the backs were opened to examine the prints -- -- we are currently listing a match to this Lithograph -- Free Local pick-up is an option.
