Original drypoint sketch by Ernst Oppler Subject is a dancer Numbered 13 of 100 I’ve had this for a while. I knew it was old. Ernest Oppler (Germany - 1867-1929) Th original frame/mat and backing were old and I didn’t want to break into the back of it to see if this was indeed a real drypoint sketch or a produced copy BUT… I HAD to open the back to see if it is an original. It is!! If you search for a print like this, you’ll find COPIES for sale (usually out of an art book) Photos are of this item Photos depict the backing and how the bottom is lifted off to check the integrity of the drypoint sketch There are spots/areas of discoloration from storage and age. It is truly a one of a kind artwork Message me for

A nice touch is the paper’s deckled edge, giving it a rustic charm.
