Allan Mardon (Canada, 1931–2020) was an illustrator and painter known for his large-scale, detailed works focusing on American myths, history, and Native American themes. Born in Welland, Ontario, he trained at the Ontario College of Art and the Slade School of Art before working as an animator and commercial illustrator. This lithograph is entitled "Rodeo Dance" it is from his 2005 Exhibition "The Cowboy, Rodeo, & The WYO Rodeo, Bradford Brinton Memorial & Museum, May 28-Sept 5, 2005. it is signed and dated lower right in plate and aslo pencil signed below in the margin. The lithograph is houses in a simple Pine molding frame with protective glass front.
